SPHERO ROBOTICS CLUB

The Sphero Robotics Club (STEM Club) supports learning outside of the classroom. This dynamic club offers brain exercisers through hands-on activities and problem-solving in the areas of science, computer coding, and engineering. The Sphero Club not only gives children a fun learning environment, but it also inspires them and helps to go beyond the classroom in certain topics. The benefits of the Sphero Robotics Club include:

  • Increasing self confidence
  • Enhancing critical thinking and problem solving
  • Introducing students to new concepts
  • Paced learning.
  • Team building skills.

The Sphero Robotics Club give students a chance to work and play together, while also learning important STEM concepts. This time working and collaborating with other students also gives them important social and emotional skills that will benefit them later in life.

What is STEM education?

STEM education is a teaching approach that combines Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. STEM is designed to encourage discussion and problem solving among students, developing both practical skills and appreciation for the four disciplines rather than separate and discrete subjects.
